Susan Wright-Hoots

Owner/Stylist

Since arriving in Florida from her native Ogunquit, Maine in 1971, Susan’s love of style, creative flair, and passion has lead her to be the Owner, Stylist and Creative Director of Courtyard Hair Etc.. Susan studied at Bernard’s School of Cosmetology in Lewiston, Maine and continues this study every year with Continuting Education, and bringing the industries best in to train her staff. Her extensive knowledge of the business of beauty, as well as her extensive talent has made her one of Florida’s most sought after stylists.

Dianna Hedges

Stylist

Dianna joined Courtyard Hair Etc. in 1997 from Indianapolis, Indiana. Diana knew at a very early age her passion was for hairstyling and began her studies in high school. While continuing her studies in high school, Dianna attended Vocational Education School with a major in Cosmetology during her Junior and Senior years. Her passion for hairstyling keeps her continuing her education every year to be the best she can be. Dianna has practiced for 46 years which includes, managing a salon in Columbus, Ohio for 4 years.

Dawn Ondras

Receptionist

Dawn joined the Courtyard Hair Etc. team in 2011. Her background includes a Degree in Education and over 23 years of Salon Management in Connecticut. Dawn has an innate knowledge of how salons function at every level and is very passionate about her role. Her wealth of experience and knowledge ensures all guests have great salon experiences. Dawn summer’s in Coventry, Connecticut and we are so grateful to have her winter with us here in Florida

Fred Doty

Barber

Fred has been an extremely loyal and longstanding member of the Courtyard Hair Etc. team, he has been with us from day one. Fred’s work as a Barber started in Columbus Ohio where he attended Barber College and owned Arcade Salon for many years. He attended Ohio State University, and continues his education every year to hone his craft. Fred combines his advanced technical expertise with his flair for style to serve his ever growing list of loyal guests.

Michael Rizk

Massage Therapist

Michael joined the Courtyard Hair Etc. Team in 2005, and has been serving Boca Grande Island for more than 29 years. He is adaptable and intuitive, and trusted by his loyal guest list. His specialties include: Holistic, Deep Therapeutic Massage of mind body and spirit. His guests enjoy a minimum of 90 minute sessions with Myofascial and Neuromuscular Techniques according to individual tolerance.

Trish Chamberlain

Nail Tech

Trish moved to Florida from Hackelstown, New Jersey and has been with Courtyard Hair Etc. since 2001. Trish has built an extremely loyal client base and is a salon nail expert. She has studied as a Advanced Medical/Nail Tech with an impressive internship with a Doctor of Podiatry. Trish graduated from Charlotte Technical School and is Certified in CND Shellac Nails, Bio Sculpture Gel, as well as a Certified Norvell Spray Tan Technician. She is an integral part of our team, and has unwavering passion for her work.

Gayle Cluff

Stylist/Nail Tech

Gayle came to Courtyard Hair Etc. in 2009 with an impressive background of Director/Instructor of Pierre’s School of Cosmetology for 25 years. Along with a career path that included working with Paul Mitchell, and Pivot Point. Gayle has an innate understanding of what guests want for a fresh new look and has become an expert in keeping her guest’s looking fabulous! We are pleased to have Gayle during the warm winter months in Florida.

David Smith

Stylist/Barber

David Smith, Stylist/Barber

David has been with Courtyard Hair Etc. since 2016, and brings an influential, artisnal approach to hair. He combines his experience with Redken, Paul Mitchell, Pivot Point and SoColor to achieve impressive results with hair. He studied at Pierre’s School of Cosmetology and combines his skill with technique to create a fresh look his guests can wear with confidence. We are proud to have him during the winter and are envious of him in Kennebunk, Maine during the warm summer months.

Mr. Boots

Mr Boots, is our Feline in Control. He serves as our in house PR Guru as well as Meeter and Greeter.
